Competition Format – 18-hole Stableford Bowmaker, played from the red tees in teams of 3 with the best two scores to count – 85% Handicap Allowance
Maximum Playing Handicap Allowance: 36
Players with a higher playing handicap may enter but must play off Broadway Playing Handicap of 36.
Age Limit: Open to all Ladies who are 55+ as at 1st January 2024.
Handicap Certificate – All competitors must have a WHS handicap index, which can be confirmed by means of the CDH number. No prize will be awarded to any player whose handicap cannot be confirmed. The handicap must be current and all competitors must have submitted 5 cards for handicap purposes in the previous 12 months, on a rolling basis.

Catering: Catering will be available and can be ordered on arrival (at additional cost)
Booking – is via the Club website www.broadwaygolfclub.co.uk, click on Open Competitions and select the open you wish to book, where you will be able to select your preferred tee time and make your payment. Visitors must enter their CDH number at time of booking.
Members should log on and book from the competitions menu. Teams may be a mixture of member/s with guest visitor/s and you will be given the chance to choose the option you want via a drop down menu when entering. NB Visitors’ CDH numbers must be entered at booking.
Payment at booking by Sage Pay only, NB members booking guest/s must pay the correct Green Fee for each visitor.
Payment – will be taken immediately and you will receive a confirmatory email. There will be a full refund for cancellation up to 1st May, 2024. After that point no refunds will be given but substitutes are allowed. Cancellations can only be made via the Club office.
Closing Date: Closing date for entries Saturday 31st August 18:00.
Buggies – Only motorised buggies, which have been reserved from the Professional Shop, are allowed on the golf course. Such buggies are allowed in 18-hole competitions where competitors have a pre-existing medical condition and when prior approval has been given by the event organiser. Proof of a qualifying medical reason may be required from the visitor’s home club. Buggies are approved for single occupancy only and must not be used to carry a fellow competitor or equipment belonging to them.
Results – Results will be published in the Clubhouse as soon as possible after the conclusion of the event. Competitors are reminded that it is their own responsibility to report “Away Scores” back to their own club. There will be no formal prize giving and prizes in the form of vouchers will be mailed out to the winners.
Competition Rules – The rules of golf, as approved by R&A Rules Limited, together with Local Rules, as drawn up and approved by the Management Committee, shall be the rules of play for all competitions. Local Rules are displayed in the Clubhouse and copies are available from the Club office, upon request. All disputes, infringements and complaints will be dealt with by the Competitions Committee and their decisions on all matters will be final. All visitors are asked to respect the rules of the Club at all times.
Dress Code – Full details are displayed in the Clubhouse. On the course – suitable golf attire and approved golfing footwear are required. Anyone not conforming with the dress code will be asked to leave the course. In the Clubhouse – golfing attire or smart casual attire.
Mobile Phones – Electronic devices must be switched to silent in the Clubhouse or on the course. Players are encouraged to carry a mobile phone on the course for use only in the case of a medical emergency.
Personal Property – The Club cannot be held responsible for the loss of, or damage to, members’ or visitors’ property, or any legal liability devolving upon the individual member or visitor for such property.
Insurance – It is in the interests of all golfers to have a current golfer’s insurance policy to cover injury and all liabilities incurred on the golf course and in the clubhouse.
Etiquette – All members and visitors are expected to behave with courtesy and observe recognised standards of etiquette, both on and off the golf course.
