Dress Code & Etiquette



Gentlemen on the Course

Conventional golf dress including turtle-neck golf shirts. Shirts must be worn tucked in.

Collarless/sleeveless Shirts/Singlets.

Tailored Shorts with calf length mainly white Sports Socks, Pop or knee length Socks of
any colour.

Denim Jeans any colour, ¾ length, Cargo style Shorts or Trousers, Tracksuits, Sports, Beach, Boxer or gaily coloured Shorts.

Spiked or dimpled Golf Shoes.

Training shoes or any other types of non-golf footwear

 

 

Ladies on the Course

Conventional golf dress. Golf Shirts with
a collar can be worn with or without sleeves.
Golf Shirts without a collar must have sleeves

Halter-neck Shirts or Tops.

Tailored Shorts of a suitable length.

Denim Jeans any colour, Cargo style Shorts or Trousers, Tracksuits, Sports, Beach, Boxer or gaily coloured Shorts.

Spiked or dimpled Golf Shoes.

Training shoes or any other types of non-golf footwear

 


 

Gentlemen in the Clubhouse

Smart/Casual dress. With formal Shoes
or Sandals with Socks at all times.

Collarless/sleeveless Shirts/Singlets.

Tailored Shorts permitted at all times.

Denim Jeans, Tracksuits, Sports,
Beach or gaily coloured Shorts.

Shirts must be worn tucked in.

Training shoes

 

 

 

Ladies in the Clubhouse

Smart/Casual dress. With formal Shoes or Sandals.

Halter-neck Shirts or Tops.

 

Denim Jeans any colour, Tracksuits, Beach or gaily coloured Shorts.

In the Clubhouse Dining Room

Appropriate smart dress at all times.

Denim Jeans or Denim wear of any kind, Singlets or Tracksuits are not permitted at any time.

Shorts and Golf Wear may be worn until
7pm but after this only appropriate smart wear will be permitted.

On Fri, Sat and Sun evenings after 7pm Gentlemen must wear Jacket, Collar & Tie.

Gentlemen may not wear collarless or sleeveless Shirts or any Golf-wear after
7pm.

 

Denim Jeans any colour, Tracksuits, Beach or gaily coloured Shorts.

 

Training shoes.

 

 

 

No Mobile Phones

no phonesMembers and Visitors are requested to ensure that mobile phones are switched off when on the course or within the clubhouse. You are encouraged to carry your switched off mobile phone on the course however in case of emergency.

The Steward will uphold standards of dress and all members and visitors are asked to abide by the spirit as well as the letter of dress code rules whilst on club premises. It is the responsibility of Members and Visiting Society Organisers to ensure that these rules are observed by their parties.
