Congratulations to the Broadway Golf Club Mail on Sunday Team who have now got into the last 32 of this competition having beaten the Warwickshire 3:2 last night.

Our high flying Mail on Sunday team have their 6th round match on July 1st starting at 4pm. The Club, of course, wishes them luck but they would appreciate your support - why not come along and support Ted Fila and the team?

Thought I would alert you to the fact that our team in this comp.has now won through 5 rounds, and from a starting list of approx 1200 teams in the UK, we have reached the last 64.
The team is made up of 5 players playing singles matches off full handicap. Each member of the squad has now played 2 matches to qualify them for any future rounds.
The squad is made up as follows:

Dereck Buttler
Matt Sollis
Andy Mooney
Brian Wright
Our most recent win was June 5th, away at Witney Lakes Golf Club.
In the last 3 rounds we have had to go to extra holes to win the matches. Our stars on the play-off hole have been Matt Sollis, with wins against Silverstone away (round 3) and against Cotswold Hills at home (round 4).
Dereck Buttler was the star today with his win at Witney Lakes (round 5).
We will know where we have been drawn within the next month or so, and will keep you informed.
Supporters buses can be arranged...........!
